Ambitious Plans for Phase 2 of Saints Nuneaton
Now Phase 1 is up and running, we are beginning to work towards Phase 2 of our project. Some local young people have created a video to gather support for this exciting project. Create and Connect Workshops Begin!
This week we started hosting our free Create and Connect workshops, a chance to meet new people and have a fun and relaxing time; drawing, painting and connecting with each other. It was great seeing people enjoying creating together. The workshops will be running Mondays from 10am-12.30pm and Fridays from 10am-12.30pm, and provide an opportunity to work on guided exercises with hosts Rosie and Rachel, or bring something you are working on to create in the company of others..

We’re back!
Hey there Nuneaton! Guess who's back? We are beyond thrilled to be able to reopen our doors on Saturday 4th July at 9.30am. We have been working hard to prepare the building for reopening, and we can't wait to see you all again. COVID-19 Update
We are now closed until further notice. But we aren't going anywhere! Dear Nuneaton, Today the decision was made to close the Saints building to the public, effective tomorrow, until further notice. This is in response to advice on the prevention of the spreading of Coronavirus. Though our building is closed, we are not going anywhere! Stallholder Spotlight - Fair Trading
Every Wednesday we shine a spotlight on one of our stallholders. This week is the Fair Trading stall, run by Terry Salter. Terry has been selling fair trade items for many years, and he is thrilled to have a permanent space in Nuneaton to display his beautiful stock. Terry stocks a wide range of items, including home decor, food and drink, textiles and cards. From bowls to bags, from coffee to candle holders, there is something for everyone on offer at the Fair Trading stall.

Every Wednesday we turn the spotlight on one of our stallholders. This week it is The Handcrafters Hub, run by the wonderful Gail Dodd. The Official Launch
On Friday 24th January, we held two launch events for our current and prospective partners, and then for the local church partners in Nuneaton. Local MP Marcus Jones cut the ribbon on our corner door, local council representatives were there along with organisations and local business owners. A first look at our newly renovated ground floor
In the lead up to opening day on the 8th January, we would like to share with you a first look at our newly renovated ground floor. Why not head down from the 8th January to see for yourself! We will be open 9.30-3.30 Monday-Saturday. We have collected a variety of furnishings, a lot of them second hand, and saved from going to landfill. Renovation progress update
Our workers have been hard at work renovating our building. The building is already looking completely different, with a fresh undercoat of paint up, and colour about to go on the walls. As we get closer and closer to being able to open, our excitement is growing about launching this amazing project. 50 Tins of Paint Donated
A huge thank you to Brewers in Nuneaton for donating us 50 tins of paint to use in the renovations of our building. We were incredibly excited to receive this donation, so kindly given to us by Brewers. We have already made a start on using the paint to provide an undercoat on all of the walls and woodwork on the ground floor of Saints, and we can't wait to take this blank canvas and inject some beautiful colour. Marcus Jones MP offers a Letter of Support
On Friday we gave our local MP, Marcus Jones, a tour of our building. Marcus has kindly offered to write us a letter of support to provide a boost to our fundraising bids! We have a building!
This Monday, Together for Change signed the lease for an empty building in Nuneaton town centre, which will now house the Saints Project. First opened in 1898, the building has had a variety of uses over the years, with some parts remaining virtually untouched for decades. Funding received for the Saints project
A huge thank you to the National Lottery Awards for All and the 29th May 1961 Charitable trust for selecting the Saints project to receive funding for the work we hope to do in Nuneaton. We received recognition from the National Lottery Awards for All, and we were awarded a grant of £9892 for 'Tackling Poverty in Nuneaton'. Incredible volunteer support for the Saints clean-up
The clean-up of the Saints project building attracted support from over 30 volunteers from local Nuneaton churches over 3 days. From Monday 22nd-Wednesday 24th July, volunteer teams worked hard to clear rubbish, clean and reorganise the space to make way for building renovations.
