Kind Communities, Kind Food
A couple of weeks ago team members Cherish and Hannah attended the Kind Communities, Kind Food event at Stockingford Community Centre. Kind Communities, Kind Food is a County Council-led community engagement programme that provides live cooking demonstrations and free information about how to adopt healthier lifestyles as well as other food-related community support. First Repair Café at Saints
On Saturday the 18th October we hosted our very first Repair Cafe at Saints, working in partnership with Warwickshire Climate Alliance, funded by the Green Shoots fund. Grand Opening of the Müller Hall at Saints Central
On 7th April 2025, we held a ‘Grand Opening’ event to mark the culmination of 6 months of renovation works to our first floor Victorian Hall, and the adjoining kitchen and toilet facilities. The event was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress, as well as His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, as well as many other people who have been a part of the story of Saints over the last five years. Summer at Saints 2023
Introducing our Summer at Saints programme, which is starting on Tuesday 1st August! We have lots on offer thanks to the support of the WLWS Household Support Fund and the Social Impact Fund, so have a read to find out more. Start the day right! We’re offering free breakfast to every child from 9.30-10.30am every day we are open (Tuesday-Saturday). A Truly ‘Wonderful Winter’
From the 19th – 22nd December, we ran a series of family fun events that were free to families with children on free school meals, who received a council issued ‘HAF code’. We packed in as many fun activities as we possibly could across the four days, and we had an amazing time with all the families who came! Summer Staycation 2021
From Thursday 5th August to Wednesday 1st September, in partnership with our friends at YWAM the Kings Lodge, we ran a free programme of food and fun for the whole family to enjoy! With funding obtained through Warwickshire County Council's 'Holiday Activities and Food (HAF)' Programme, we were able to run the Staycation for four days a week, with a focus on supporting local families who would normally receive free school meals during term time. HAF Programme - Saints Staycation is back!
We are excited to announce that we are running our Summer Staycation for families over the summer holidays, starting Thursday 5th August and ending Wednesday 1st September! This is part of the council’s HAF programme, and there will be bookable spaces available for eligible children with HAF codes. We are partnering with our friends at YWAM and running the event at two locations, our building in Nuneaton town centre, and the YWAM building ‘The Kings Lodge’ on Watling Street.

Half -Term Holiday Club brings family fun to town
During the May half term here at Saints we opened up our building specially to run four afternoons of free/low cost children's activities. The activities available changed each day, and included biscuit icing, jewellery making, a town centre scavenger hunt, willow weaving and lots more. Free Summer Fun at the Saints Staycation Events
Every Wednesday from the 22nd July to the 26th August, in partnership with YWAM The Kings Lodge, the Saints team ran free family events outside the building. The Official Launch
On Friday 24th January, we held two launch events for our current and prospective partners, and then for the local church partners in Nuneaton. Local MP Marcus Jones cut the ribbon on our corner door, local council representatives were there along with organisations and local business owners.
