Meet Greg Cooper: Our New Centre Manager at Saints Central

We’re excited to introduce Greg Cooper, who’s joined us as the new Centre Manager at Saints Central! Greg brings a wealth of experience and a heart for community transformation, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.

Who Is Greg?

Greg comes to us after leading The Message Trust’s work in the West Midlands since 2021. In this role, he launched community-transforming Eden teams, built up creative school’s work, and equipped young people through local prayer gatherings. Prior to this, Greg spent over a decade working in two of the UK’s leading debt advice charities as a Debt Advisor and Partnerships Manager.

Outside of work, Greg attends Walsall Community Church, part of the Synergy Church Network, and serves on the Synergy Prophetic Team, which supports the network's leadership. In this role, Greg has had the opportunity to visit churches across the UK and the USA. Additionally, Greg contributes to the Love Black Country Next Gen team, engaging with local youth and children's workers and helping to organise youth prayer gatherings.

What's next for Saints Central?

Saints Central is our flagship Saints Project. Born from the collective vision of Nuneaton Churches and Together for Change, the project launched in January 2020. The project recently celebrated 5 years of opening, and we are now looking towards the next 5 years, working in partnership with local churches to try to alleviate the effects of poverty in the town.

Greg’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as we have completed our Phase 2 renovations in 2025 with the launch of the George Müller Hall, to expand our range of activities and host community events that seek to Transform Nuneaton.

Greg is married to Jen, and together they have two children, Josiah and Eliana. In his spare time, Greg enjoys watching rugby, hiking, and photography. We are excited to have Greg on board and look forward to the continued growth and impact of Saints Central.
