Safeguarding

Saints Nuneaton is committed to Safeguarding as an integral part of the projects we deliver.

Safeguarding means that we promote the safety and welfare of the individuals involved with or impacted by the projects we deliver or support.

We do this by:

  • Following legislation, guidance, key safeguarding principles, and recognised good practice.

  • Recruiting our staff and volunteers safely, with references, and with DBS checks when the role requires.

  • Creating and maintaining a safe culture and environment, where all are welcome and feel able to speak out about their concerns.

  • Showing care and compassion to survivors of abuse.

  • Taking the appropriate steps to recognise, record, report and respond to concerns raised.

  • Implementing procedures, policies and training that are evaluated regularly to reflect up-to-date guidance.

  • Provide public information about our safeguarding procedures.

We have a dedicated on-site Safeguarding Lead, who reports to our TFC Safeguarding Officer. You can reach out to either of them about any safeguarding concerns you may have.
