Championing Small and Local Business
Shopping local, encouraging small business growth and development

Beautician in residence
Cassey Franklin of 'Cassey's Beauty and Training' kickstarted her Beauty business with a small business space within our café when we opened in 2020. Cassey grew her business and left us to go hire space in a salon across town. Then in 2022 Cassey returned and took up residence at Saints again, with a nail bar in the café and a beauty treatment room upstairs. Now she is truly thriving, and giving back by training and encouraging others in Beauty.
Makers Markets
Every Christmas we have run at least one Makers Market, celebrating local creatives and making space for them to sell their products for a minimal hire charge.
Nuneaton is full of creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, and we've seen such a variety of stalls across the years.
We now run markets at other points in the year too, offering more opportunities to support local creatives!

Small Business Spaces
Since Saints first opened in 2020, we have hosted a variety of small businesses in varying ‘stall/shop spaces’ around our building.
Here are some of the small businesses based in the building.

Wayside Willow
Chaz is a local willow weaver, and has a wide range of willow products, both practical and decorative! He also teaches willow weaving in our Learning Zone.

Terry's Fair Trade
Terry’s stall is full of Fair Trade products, including a wide variety of food items, store cupboard essentials, gifts, homewares, clothing and more.
Sourcing locally
Where we can do so, we like to use local businesses and suppliers.
In our café we are proud to use St Martins Coffee Roasters, a fantastic coffee roastery business based in Leicestershire. St Martins have supported us with barista training for our staff, and they provide high quality beans with great customer service.
We also use North Warwickshire based Gaytons Bakery for bread and sweet treats. The bakery has been running for over 100 years, and they are a fantastic business.
