We are committed to understanding and sharing the difference our work makes. We measure our impact by collecting stories, numerical data and feedback, and we share our learning through reports, articles and newsletters with our stakeholders.
Transforming our community for over six years
Since January 2020, we’ve worked alongside local people and partners to help strengthen connections, build skills and confidence and ensure more people are able to access support when they need it.
During this time, hundreds of local people have taken part in our activities and support.
We are privileged to be part of so many people’s journeys, and to see real, lasting changes in confidence, connection, and wellbeing.

In an independent calculation of the impact and value of our work in the community, our 'Social Value' was calculated at

Joe's Story
Joe* (name changed) came to us to do a work experience placement through a partnership with Oakwood Secondary School, a local SEN school. He quickly got stuck in, stepped out of his comfort zone and learnt new skills.
At the end of his placement, Joe* secured a part time job working in a school kitchen.
I enjoy making the drinks and enjoy serving the customers. Work experience has helped me to talk to people I do not know. Helping me to show I can work

Cassey's Story
Cassey joined us as a budding beautician, with a stall in our café that was fully subsidised for a year. She used the space to advertise her services, and quickly started doing 'parents do hair' courses. She grew her client base and left for a while to rent a chair in another salon. Then in 2022 Cassey returned, and set up her own beauty spaces within our building. Her business is now thriving, and we are proud to have supported her in building it from the ground up.
